Virgin Entertainment Group plants 5,000 trees through Plant-It 2020 at the John Denver Memorial Forest, Lake Victoria, Kenya.

August

125 saplings planted as a part of a new wetlands area in Aspen, Colorado to commemorate the new John Denver Wildlife Sanctuary.

September

956 trees planted in Canada for Nissan Canada Inc.

October

10,000 trees planted in Ecuador. This will increase crop production, the water supply and fruits while decreasing atmospheric CO2 and forest fragmentation.

Veterans Day tree-planting in Woodstock, Georgia. 300 2' - 5' trees planted by 1,700 students from Bascomb Elementary School on a public hillside.

Abbott Laboratories chose to plant a tree for each attendee at their 1998 Worldwide Human Resources Leadership Conference. A total of 500 indigenous trees will be planted at locations around the world.
